2021 Research Hero Award Celebration

Relay for Life Thank You Celebration

Please join us on Wednesday, June 15th from 5 - 8 PM at the Woodlands Amphitheater to celebrate receiving the 2021 Research Hero Award from the American Cancer Society.  A heartfelt "Thank You" for your incredibly generous contributions and support. The Relay for Life Team raised over $210,000 to become the number one Relay for Life Community Team in the Nation.  Number one out of 19,345 teams.  This award came with the honor of selecting and naming a 3 year research grant at Stanford University.  The "ST. JAMES RESEARCH PROJECT" will investigate the Genetic Determinants of Immune Evasion by Metastatic Lung Cancer.

Bring a chair, sit back and enjoy the music of Mike's Garage Band.  Lobster Dogs Food Truck and Maki Brewery will be on hand for anyone who wants to purchase refreshments.  Jon Evans from WECT will be our official host and help recognize all you have done to support the cause.
