About the Event
“A Night to Remember” Luminary Ceremony is a time for us to reflect on how cancer has personally touched us. It is a time for us to grieve for those we have lost, a time to honor those who have survived the journey and a time to support those who are going through the fight.
Each flickering light reflected in the pond at Woodlands Park represents a loved one or friend. The poignant music of the bagpipes invites you to stop a while in quiet contemplation or stroll through the hundreds of luminaries, each personalized by hand by members of the St James community.
Luminaries cost $10 each. Funds raised support the work of the American Cancer Association. All donations are welcome.
For further information, please contact Jeannie Scherlacher (jeannie57@comcast.net) or Donna Godbout (dlg1004@aol.com)
Cancer survivors are invited to join a “Walk of Hope” at 4.30pm. No registration is required. We just want you to feel supported.
