About the Event
The St. James Relay for Life team invites everyone to experience “A Walk to Remember” when Woodlands Park pond will be lined with pre-purchased luminaries. There will be numerous opportunities to purchase luminaries prior to the day of the event. Participants are invited to decorate their own luminary bags, if so desired, with the name, photos and personal message of those being honored. Each luminary represents a loved one, a friend or family member who has faced a battle with cancer. It is a remembrance of a life touched by cancer and a way to hold them forever. “A Walk to Remember” is a reminder of how cancer has impacted each of us personally and the importance to continue the fight. We continue the fight against cancer together and with the hope of a cancer free tomorrow.
This is a free event and open to the St. James community. Pre-purchased Luminary Bags are $10 each.
