10%of all additional wine sales the evening of the event will also be donated to St. James Relay for Life (Cape Fear Region).
You will be provided a link to virtually spend an evening via zoom with wine. The link will be sent via email the day of the event.
Expert Doug Zucker and culinary expert Susan Zucker of Bridgewater Wines will host the evening. You will learn about the wines, regions, and foods of Italy as you enjoy the evening.
Pick up for the food and wine will be at Bridgewater from 12:00- 2:00 p.m.
A coordinated pickup will be provided for St. James residents at Woodlands Park from 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Doug Zucker, Owner Bridgewater Wines Doug spent over 30 years at the internationally famous food and wine mecca Stew Leonard’s in the northeast including the last 15 years as Director of Operations for their wine and spirits business. In his time there Doug formed relationships with many wineries and producers around the world. Doug earned his MBA from the Bordeaux Management School in Wine and Spirits while traveling and studying the wine and spirit markets around the world. Doug will share his vast wine knowledge and engaging stories.
Susan Zucker, Owner Bridgewater Wines: Susan taught culinary in the New York region at the university and high school level for many years and is an expert in crafting food and wine pairing menus. She has designed perfect food pairings for this event and will share her expertise in food and wine pairings.
